Twelve Months: August 17, 2004
Weight: 22 pounds (75 Percentile)
Height: 30.5 inches (90th Percentile)
Things I can do:
-Walk around by pushing my toys across the room. I am waiting to take the great leap of faith while putting one foot in fornt of the other until I am really ready. Right now, I'm content.
-I'm understanding some things that Mama says. (Finally) She will ask me to go get my ball and I will. This excites her greatly. A new game we play is "Where's Lily's tummy?" And I pat myself on the tummy. This, too, tickles her.
-I've learned that if I stick my hand down my throat and play with my tonsils I will gag and eventually throw up. Drives M&D up a wall.
-I can crawl up an entire flight of stairs! Getting down is a whole different issue. I still prefer the elevator.
-For future reference, my scheule looks like this:
--Up around 7:30 / 8:00 then breakfast
--Play until lunch around 12:00 and then nap until 3ish
--Play until 5:00 then dinner.
--Bath starts between 6:30 and 7:00 and then bed.
-I'm still attached to my binki for nap times and bed time. There are some things a girl can't live without.

Eleven Months: July 17, 2004
Weight: 23 pounds
Height: ??
Things I can do:
-Cruise around the furniture. I love playing in my garden because I can stand up, open and close the door and check the mail.
-Vocabulary: Mama, Dada, Puppy and Ball.
-Roll and/or throw a ball with M&D.
-I'm getting better at holding on to Mama when she carries me, but usually she ends up holding onto me for dear life as I wiggle myself out of her arms.
-I hold on to Mama when she tries to help me walk though. I love that!

Ten Months: June 17, 2004
Weight: 22 pounds (I think Mama weighed me just after a HUGE dinner.)
Height: Mama doesn't measure me anymore...maybe she'll start when I can stand on my own.
Things I can do:
-Say "puppy" and "ma ma".
-I got the okay from the Dr last month to eat anything and M&D are feeding me everything! The other day I had salmon for breakfast (Daddy), chili and cheese for lunch (Mama) and potatoes and baked beans for dinner (Mama).
-Open and close things...repeatedly.
-Pull up to standing position, let go, fall. I've only let go twice but it still counts! I have no desire to walk. When Mama stands me up I make my legs go limp so I can continue to crawl around. I'll show her!
-Play with Smushie. I hold her toys and she tries to get them from me. It's so cute and makes me giggle.
-I am a mastermind at Velcro shoes. Mama had to go back on her word that she would only put me in Velcro shoes. She said it was way easier than dealing with the other types. Well, I showed her and they are soo easy to take off. Hee hee. She's now got me in ones that tie and buckle. I'm getting close to mastering those too. :-)

Eight Months: April 17, 2004
Weight: 20 pounds (NO GAIN!!)
Height: Still too "wiggly" to measure. But I'm getting BIG!
Things I can do:
-Get Sick. This picture is of me in the DR office on my 8 Month b-day. I have a bad viral cold and I cough a lot, especially when I'm trying to nap or sleep. It makes me mad and I scream.
-I'm in to Stage 4 diapers...
-I have mastered the pincer grip as seen in the pic.
-New teeth! Check out my Tooth Chart.
-I'm in 18 month clothes. Mama has even started to look at 2T's, but I won't let her buy any!
-I can get into a sitting position from lying down.
-I can pull myself up to my knees.
-I can move around the room. I don't crawl or walk, I roll, sit and slide.
-I can finally get my foot in my mouth, usually only after I take off my socks.
-Mama swears she's heard me say Mama, but I'm gonna say Dada first!

Seven Months: March 17, 2004
Weight: 20 pounds
Height: ?? Mama said I was too "wiggly" to measure.
Things I can do:
-I can eat Cheerios! I am actually able to feed myself. M&D are so proud.
-Who needs two naps a day? I have been occasionally scaring Mama by only taking one nap a day (maybe about 2 hours?) I get 12 hours at night, Sheesh, how much does she want me to sleep? So what if I'm a LITTLE cranky.
-I'm moving in to Stage 4 diapers...
-No new teeth.
-I'm slowly outgrowing my 12 Month clothes. 18 Month ones fit nicely; although some are still big.

Six Months: February 17, 2004
Weight: 19 pounds
Height: 27 inches
Things I can do:
-Grab Cheerios. I can't put them in my mouth, but I can grab them and drop them for Smushie.
-I can sit up on my own, unsupported. I do have a tendency to fall backwards, but otherwise, I'm good.
-Roll over both ways on demand. That's when I demand it; not when others demand it. I'm especially good at doing it for nap time.
-I am still in stage 3 diapers...thank goodness!
-I cut my first and second tooth this month!
I am officially in 12 month clothing, pushing 18 months! Most of my 6-9 month stuff is too small. Looking forward to spring!

Height: 26 inches
Things I can do:
-Hold my own bottle.
-Hold toys with 2 hands, that's one toy in each hand.
-Scoot. However, I'm not quite sure how I do it. All I know is that I end up on the opposite side of the crib in the morning.
-I am still in stage 3 diapers...thank goodness!
-I roll over more than I used to which isn't much, but it's sometimes!

Four Months: December 17, 2003
Weight: 17 pounds
Height: 25.5 inches
Things I can do:
-Lose my first tooth. Yup, I lost it already. Of course, if you ask the doctor, he said it wasn't really a tooth, but a pearlized calcium build-up or something. All I know is that it was there for over a month and it went "tink". Mama kept trying to rub it off but it didn't. Until one day...and it just wasn't there. Poof! Gone. Phooey on the DR!
-Eat lots of food. I have two meals a day that consist of fruits or veggies and cereal.
-Play for hours in my jolly jump up.
-I'm in Stage 3 diapers and 6-9 month clothes. EEK!

Three Months: November 17, 2003
Weight: 15 and a half pounds!
Height: 24.0 to 25.0 inches
Mama had to measure me and she's not exactly sure how to do it and I kept wiggling...
Things I can do:
-Sit up in my high chair.
-Eat rice cereal. I haven't told Mama and Daddy yet, they are so excited that I eat off a spoon, but the cereal has the consistency of wallpaper paste.
-Play in my exersaucer. Oh the fun I have!
-Fill a diaper up like a pro! I am growing so big that I have almost out grown my stage 2 diapers.
-Chew madly on my hands. These hand things are real neat; I can grab stuff with them also.
-Cut teeth, oh yea you heard me right! My first tooth started coming through on Nov 16th, Mama heard the official *tink* on the spoon on Nov 19th. I rock!
-I can sleep. I sleep from 7PM to 7AM; now if I could only get Mama and Daddy to quit coming in my room and looking at me all the time. Can't a girl just sleep in peace?

-Scream very loudly! (Continuation from last month.)
-SMILE! Pretty much on demand if I've eaten in the last two hours unless someone wants to take my picture, then, no smiles.
-I have outgrown my stage 1 diapers. Look out world, here I come!
-I have also outgrown my moses basket and most of my 3 month clothes. Mama had to pack them away and it made her very
sad. But, she says that I have the cutest chubby legs!
