What a Busy Week!
This will be my last entry in my baby blog. But, don't worry; I will still be posting to the family blog. Mama says I have to share it when baby brother (who doesn't have a name yet!) gets here. It will still be updated weekly and it has a new feature where you can enter your email address and get notifications when it's updated!
Well, on to some fun stuff! M&D have bought me some cool toys (which were for my b-day but I got them early!). Check me out trying to "sit" in my play table. See the red thing on the floor? That is the top of the table.

6 Teeth
I have 6 teeth coming in at once. Check out my swollen gums! That's two bottom molars, two bottom front side teeth and two top molars. (One top molar has already broken through.)

Birthday Girl!
On the 14th we had a party with the KC folks early to celebrate my birthday. Nana, the McEachens, the Riley's and the Petermans all came to celebrate. We all had great fun until Mama put the cake in front of me. Then, the real fun began! That is, until I put my hands in the cake and totally FREAKED out because I had frosting up to my wrists. But, here's a happy picture of me before the incident with my party hat and shirt on from Aunt Bevveeee.

Hi Lily, Wow, you sure have gotten to be a big girl, teeth and all! Your M&D must give you all the attention and love you can handle, I can tell from the pix. And your Mama, what a housekeeper, those floors and cabinets SHINE. Guess that'll probably getting harder & harder as you really start buzzin' around on your own, Watch out Mama! Hope Mama feels better and your new little brother stops giving her a hard time. Hope you have agreat time in FL with all the family. HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY!!!! We miss being able to share it with you, looks like you had a great time though! Your shirt and hat looked nice and you even kept your hat on, what a good girl! My, but it sounded like you had a fun time at your Birthday party--until the cake incident! You looked real cute with your Birthday hat on too! Auntie Bevee is always thinking of you! It looks like you had fun with your new toys too! I think that you're supposed to play on your play table not in it--but your way looked like lots of fun! Well, this is my last entry in your baby blog I guess. But I promise to write often in your new site. Happy 1st Birthday, Sweetheart. I love you! Wet Kisses
On Sunday, August 1, I gave Mama a nice big wet kiss! All she had to do was ask. I even did it once more that afternoon, but not since then. I'm still a bit cautious about freely giving kisses. However, I do give hugs quite freely. I love to hug my stuffed animals and sometimes I even love to hug Smushie, but I don't really get the opportunity too often.
Learning To Associate
You would have thought I'd come up with a cure for colic. M & D were soooo excited when I was flipping through the Sunday Newspaper ads and I saw a puppy (in an advertisement for Cottonelle toilet paper...whatever that is.) I looked at the puppy and said my version of "puppy" and Mama and Daddy about popped. I was too afraid to do it again.
Mama's Gone Mad. An Experiment Gone Bad
Mama thought she would amuse me by giving me a pail of water and some toys to play with. INSIDE THE HOUSE. In the kitchen to be exact. What did she think, that I wouldn't tip it over? Anyways, I had fun for about 5 minutes and then had more fun watching Mama clean the floor.

Hi Lily!
You are just too cute! What was Mommy thinking when she gave you a bucket of water????? She must have wanted to wash her floor--we used to just bring in the hose! Well, we're getting ready for a storm here and I still have stuff to do, but I had to go and check out your picture of your swollen gums--Muma feels so bad for you--they look like they really hurt. Tell Momma to give you a hug from me! And then give Momma a kiss from me, 'cause she's not having a good day. I love you!

Couch Potatoes

As you can see in the background of this pic there is a lot of work being done on our backyard. We are getting a screened in porch, a grill deck, a shed and a stamped concrete patio! It's going to be so much fun, I can't wait! They say it'll be done in about a month.

You sure are too cute. You and Daddy make a nice pair of couch potatoes! Just wait till you learn how to use the remote, or at least learn to hide it--Daddy will not like that too much!!!
Looks like your pool is fun! Also looks like you're almost ready to start walking! Mommy's in trouble then! Tell your Mom that when carpenters say one month--they usually mean six--or seven even! Well, I've got some work to do, but I wanted to pop in and see if Mommy got your BLOG updated and, of course, she did. I hear that you're giving kisses now. Give Mommy one from me!
