A Festive Fifth Week

9/14 - 9/20

Auntie Beveee Comes To Visit
I love my Auntie Bevee! She came up on Thursday of this week (one day after my one month birthday). Let me tell you, she spoils me rotten!! I love it! She'd do anything for me. On her first night here she held my head while I slept...she did this for TWO hours...all after a day at work and a flight from FL to KS!

The next day we went shopping at the Great Mall of America and I now have sooo many cute new outfits that are long sleeve. It's a bit chilly here in KS and I really don't enjoy having my arms covered by a blanket so I needed some long sleeve outfits. Auntie Beveee to the rescue!

At the Oak Park Mall, Mama was feeding me and this older woman walks right up to Mama and me and says "Is that a baby under there?" Mama said yes and she's feeding. The woman just stood there as if she wanted to see me, so Mama took off the blanket to show the woman what I was doing. She got the message and quickly left. :-)

Daddy Rocks
Daddy loves building contraptions for me to be in. Check this out. He combined a baby boppy with the bouncy seat so that I could sit up a bit "straighter". I love it! Mama says it's a bit unsafe; aw, live a little, Mama!

Daddy's Girl

I missed you all day while you were at work, Daddy!

Big Girl
I had my one month birthday on Wednesday. Mama took lots of pictures...here's just a few.

Family Photo
On Friday night Aunt Bev watched me while Mama and Daddy went out to dinner. Before they left we managed to get a quick family photo.

Out Cold
With all the time I spend being cute, I need to catch up on my beauty sleep.

Mama could use some rest, too. Daddy took this picture early one morning when I didn't really want to sleep so Mama cuddled me in bed with her and she zonked out!

Don't I look comfortable in the cute sleep sack from Aunt Kari and Uncle Geoff?

Binki'd
With Binki.

Without Binki...any questions?

Buckled and Binki'd

First Steps
No, not mine! Jackie (10 Months) came over to play on Tuesday and she took her first steps!! Tobi (Jackie's Mom) was glad Mama was there to witness it. I can't wait until I'm as mobile as Jackie. She was having so much fun trying to get into Gracie's Igloo! (For more fun facts about my friends, the Holloway's, check out www.thehollowayfamily.net. Be sure to check out Jackie's Baby Blog. It's thanks to her dad, Michael, that we have my site!)

You want me to do what?

Hi Little Lily!
Just wanted to let you know how much I am looking forward to seeing you next week!!!!!! Mem and Auntee Bev and I are all looking forward to lots of hugs and kisses and smelling little baby smells--the good ones! Even Grandpa, Pepere and Uncle Artie are all excited! Uncle Artie is looking forward to buying you all kinds of toys--you are going to be the most spoiled little girl around--and your Grandpa is so anxious to meet his first grandchild! What a wonderful visit this will be. And I'm sure that your Daddy is going to miss you, so I send a special thank you to him for allowing you to come for a visit! He really is a good man, your Dad! Your Mom is pretty special too! She's been keeping this site up and running beautifully with such wonderful pictures and stories about you! She's also the one bringing you to see us. Well, just so you know, you're special to all of us and we are all anxiously awaiting your arrival. Have a safe first trip in an airplane, be good for your Mom, and lots of hugs and kisses from me 'til I see you!
Love,
Grandmuma
