Week 4 Follies

9/7 - 9/13

Wow! What a week! I have been very fussy this week. It's been fun watching Mama try to calm me down...she tries EVERYTHING!! She gets a bit cranky when nothing works and Daddy says that by the time he gets home Mama has NO patience what-so-ever! Daddy thinks that I'm fussy because I have gas; which is true, you can touch my tummy and I fart! So, Mama and Daddy have been trying to get me some relief. They give me these medicine drops after every feeding...it seems to work a little, hopefully they'll figure it out soon!

Red, White and Nike Socks
In support of 9-11, Mama wanted to dress me in red, white and blue. Thank goodness she could pull it off with the cute Nike socks that Daddy HAD to buy!



A visit with Nana.
I am always asleep when I see Nana...she must think I am the most peaceful baby...HA!



Life in the Infant Carrier
I really like my Infant Carrier. It's very cozy. I like to turn my head like an owl and stare at the pink pillow...drives Mama crazy...something about getting a stiff neck!



Sometimes, Mama puts me in the Infant Carrier because she has run out of other options. I like to let her know that she can't just forget about me...so I SCREAM! Sometimes I give Mama a break and I calm down and doze off.



Life in the Swing
Here's Mama's other life saver...the MEGA swing (as seen in a previous entry). This really quiets me down when I'm fussy.






Life as a Celebrity
Mama has such a comical life. About 6 months ago Mama and Daddy switched to a new Mobile phone service and got new phone numbers. Mama kept getting calls for Brett Miller...apparently he had the phone number before her and was quite a popular guy. Just recently, someone called looking for Brett and after Mama explained that this was his phone number it no longer is. Then, Mama asked who this guy was and she found out that he owned some publishing company or something and then sold it. Groovy. Mama says thanks for the info and then goes about her day.
On our way to see Daddy at work Mama gets a phone call. "Hi, is Brett Miller there?" Umm, no. Turns out it was the guy who had called earlier. He was laughing and said Brett wants to know if he has any messages. HUH?? Brett then gets on the phone and introduces himself, then apologizes for months of unwanted phone calls. Oddly enough, they guy originally calling for Brett is Roger who owns the Cheezsteak Company on 81st and State Line. So, Brett invites us to have a Philly Cheesesteak. Free lunch, you got it! Mama and I showed up and met Roger; Brett had already left. We enjoyed a great sandwich and got to enjoy a new restaurant! Very odd story, but that's Mama for you! Here's a picture of me at the Cheezsteak Company; who knows, maybe I'll become a local celebrity by visiting lots of different eateries in the KC area!



Getting Fuller
The title says it all. I'm a "very healthy looking 4 week old". Here are some pics of me doing what I do best! (Being cute, that is!)
