Fullerbits

I ran across this video the other day and thought the kids would get a kick out of it. The largest dead snake ever found, over 50 feet. from Steven on Vimeo.

Instead of brushing her hair, Lily tried some twirling and twisting maneuver with the brush. This picture was taken after working on it for 10 minutes. All total it took about 15 minutes to get the brush free. The whole time she cried saying, “I don’t want a brush stuck in my hair forever.”

Today was field day at Lily’s school, tomorrow is the last day of school. I can’t believe we almost have a second grader. Jen surprised Lily and showed up at field day to take a few pictures.

Lily decided the other morning that she wanted to start brushing her teeth after lunch at school. She was actually a little upset about this because she didn’t think “they” would let her. The kids had a great Easter and we hope you did too. They colored Easter eggs.

The kids decided to play super heroes this morning.

Last Thursday we were treated to a little entertainment courtesy of the Riverview Falcons first grade. You have to look close but you can pick out Lily and hear her speaking part about Langston Hughes. The program was titles S is for sunflower and was in celebration of Kansas Day.
