Hair Curling

Instead of brushing her hair, Lily tried some twirling and twisting maneuver with the brush.

This picture was taken after working on it for 10 minutes. All total it took about 15 minutes to get the brush free. The whole time she cried saying, “I don’t want a brush stuck in my hair forever.”

OK, Lily, this is NOT good! I bet that wasn’t fun getting all those snarls out! Tell her not to feel bad, Maggie had a big snarl today too and it took me forever to get it out! Miss you

    Oh Lily,
I feel so bad for you. But, don’t cut your hair! It’s beautiful. Don’t try the twist and whatever thing again, though, that looks pretty painful. Let me tell you a little story that might make you feel better. When your Mom was about a year old, we lived in a big house in Leicester, Massachusetts. It was on a big (I mean BIG hill) and I had hair that hung down to my waist. When I had to do yard work, I always put it in two ponytails that hung on each side. One day, trying to trim the hedges, the hedge trimmer caught one end of my ponytail in the engine and went right up to my scalp. I had to unplug the trimmer and call a friend. He came over and had to take the trimmer apart to get my hair out of the motor. It took hours from start to finish. Okay, you had a brush stuck in there, but I had a power motor in mine. Just so you know, I was pretty scared! I love you.
Ray, thanks for sharing and please share this with Lily.
    Love you all,
    Muma
