Snow day
Today was the first snow day of the 2009-2010 school year. Not so much for snow, we only got around 2 inches, but rather due to it being 3 degrees out this morning.
Jen got the kids dressed and took them outside since they were just about to blow a gasket if they didn’t get to play in the snow. She said it took 30 minutes to get them all dressed and they were outside for all of 5 minutes. Lily was in denial (it’s not just a river in Egypt) even though here fingers were frozen, Jon got his mitten off and stuck his hands in the snow and then proceeded to scream because they were so cold and Evan just laid in the snow and laughed. Even though she didn’t get any pictures I nominate her for “Mommy of the year”!
Mommy of the Year or Insane Woman of the Year? Who in their right mind would take three kids outside to play when it is three degrees outside?
It’s about 80 here right now. I love Florida! Hope it warms up for you guys!
