The past week
There hasn’t been too much to post about this past week. Basically we have been taking care of sick kids. Lily, Evan and I got over colds 2 1/2 weeks ago and then starting last Friday Jon got croup. A few days of steriods and some rest and he got better, we hoped that he just had what the others had but no luck.
Three days after Jon got croup Evan got croup. So he did steriods for a few days and Jen went back to the Dr with him yesterday and he has an ear infection as well. In between all of that Lily has had two pretty bad asthma episodes. Of course all of this normally happens between the hours of 10 PM and 4 AM, so Jen and I have been a little tired the past week.
Here is a picture of Evan before all the sickness. When he started crawling we needed a place to put him where he could not get to big kid toys. Thus we created his very own gated community, the kids call it “Evan’s cage”. As in, “Mom, Evan go out of his cage.”

Sorry to hear everyone was so sick!!! Wish we were there to help. I like Evan’s cage. Hope everyone is getting better now. I think it calls for more get well presents!

Hi All,
Evan’s cage is bigger than most rooms. You cannot call it a cage. I hope you are all well on the way to getting better, but with a family like yours, you’ll probably just start passing it around again. Poor Lily, asthma is pretty scary, I’m sorry she had two bouts of it. Give them all a kiss and a hug from me. I look forward to seeing you soon!
