Race cars
Today was another activity in the Lowe’s build and grow series. The project for the day was race cars, Jon and Lily were very enthusiastic about this project. We had a snow storm last night and got about 2-4 inches of snow so it was not nearly as crowded today, which made it all the more fun.

Too cute! Love the glasses – don’t know how they can see through them. What did they have to hammer? Okay, last picture, Jon’s looks like a race car, Lily’s looks like a sandwich? Did she hammer that down a little???
Love you all, thanks for sharing. Kinda funny, but our Lowes in town was doing the same thing. Guess it must be country wide that they do it. Still, nice of them to do this for the kids. They looked like they had fun.
Love you all,
Muma
P.S. Then they went rollerskating? Would love to see pics of that!
The kids are doing great rollerskating. Jon has quad skates (old-school) and Lily has roller blades. They are much easier for her and now they both can go around the rink without my help. They even skated together a few laps. Then, towards the end there was one girl there about Jon’s size who was great on skates and she grabbed his hand and they skated around a lap; too cute! Jon also got a pass to come back because he made it to the second to last lap on the limbo! Poor Lily, she was upset but she knows that she gets to come back with him!! I can’t wait for the next SKATE night! The kids will have so much fun! (Who am I kidding; I think I like it more than they do!)
Love those photos,it looks like they had a lot of fun. And the goggles were just tooooo cute. I think it’s great that Lowes does that too. And I agree I’d love to see the kids on skates. Jen’s response sounds like they had fun and too cute Jon skating with a little girl. Does Jen skate too? We need to see this! Miss you all!
