Evan is growing by leaps and bounds, he weighed in at 17.5 lbs this morning. He is also getting to where he can sit in his high chair and his bumbo, in fact his thighs are so big they tend to get stuck in that seat.

…comes sweeping down the plains. Lily and Nana took a quick weekend trip to Oklahoma last weekend to visit Daddy’s side of the family.

Lily called me at work yesterday and left a message. All she said was, “Daddy, I voted for Barack Obama.” They apparently had a mock election in her class. Jen and I both tried to get out of her why she voted for Obama or where she even heard the name, we don’t talk politics [...]

Trick or treat, smell my feet, give me something good to eat. If you don’t, I don’t care, you can smell my underwear. The kids had a great time on Halloween this year, the weather was perfect, they ate lots of candy, and ran around with the neighbor kids until after 9:00.
