Tired Jon
On days that he naps Jon can be a little pathetic when he wakes up. Lying around just wanting to be held and waited on like the little prince that he thinks he is.
Lily of course loves this since she gets to play mom, she rubs his head, brings him a blanket, etc… If he isn’t getting enough attention he will call out and ask Lily to come pamper him.
Today was one of those days. I came home early to watch the kids while Jen went to her doctor appointment, last official appointment before the new baby arrives. Just like when she was preggers with Lily she is walking around at 4cm a full week before the date.
So because I came home early I was able to witness first hand Jon and his desire to be pampered. While he woke up he opted to just lay on the floor and play with his train. Lily of course wanted to be there in case he needed anything but there was just one problem. She was very into the picture she was coloring at the kitchen table and didn’t want to stop. So she came up with a solution that worked for both of them.

And there they were for almost 10 minutes like that.
It is really pathetic, especially when Jon goes looking for Lily so she can rub his head, or his feet, or his back. He does take after his mother!
Have you ever heard the saying: “the calm before the storm!” ?! hehehe….your world is about to spin out of control…the children will out number you in only a few more days…you’re so wrong if you don’t think that Lily & Jon are fully aware of this and are playing you 2 for all you’re worth! HAVE FUN!!!! And of yes, PLEASE let me know as soon as their little counterpart arrives!
(((((HUGS)))))
sorry that was suppose to say “and, oh yes…” not “and, of yes…” that’s what i get for taunting you! sorry…..
Cute pic. I can’t believe Jen got first post at 10:40 at night. She’s always sleeping by then. Just so you know, it’s 6:45 in the morning when I am writing this. I’m not supposed to be up at this ungodly hour. Thanks for sharing. I’m going back to bed now.
Love you all.

That was a very nice jesture on Lily’s part. I think it’s sweet that she takes care of him. And yes it sounds like he learned that from his mom! Hope we see a baby soon!
