Daddy’s little helper
The highlight of Jon’s week is when we get to mow, I wish I could share in his youthful exuberance for the task. The girls left to run some errands and Jon and I got to work. The way it all plays out is after filling our mowers with gas, can’t forget that part. I actually mow and Jon does circles around me with his John Deere tractor. He used to push his toy mower but decided that was too much work.
Apparently keeping your sidewalks clear of grass clippings is a big deal, that is not just letting the wind blow them clear. Jen mentioned that she had heard people talking about this, so not wanting to be the black sheep of the sub-division I got the blower out to clear them off.
Jon was just itching to do something else to help so I figured the blower was something he would enjoy, I was right!

Look at all those grass clippings fly.

Oops, Daddy I blew that thingy right off.

As you can see from this next picture Jon learned how to use a tool no man should be without.
Duct tape!

I love this post! Those are some great pictures. I’m so glad that Jon enjoys the outside and the heat and stickiness. Lily, Lucy and I will stick with the air conditioning!!
Wow–great pics!
I can’t believe that Jon can lug that thing! He actually looks like he’s getting taller too! He’s growing up way too fast. Darn, Ray, but you’ll have him mowing the whole lawn soon! Thanks for sharing!
Love you all,
Muma
Way too cute! For your sake Ray I hope he continues to like helping! He does look like he is getting so big! Miss you all thanks for the great update!
