[5/29] Four Wheelin

Finally the story behind this picture.
jon with his helmet on

About the first thing Jon noticed in the garage of Aunt Candy and Uncle Pat’s house was the big red four wheeled ATV. “What’s that?” he said. That was quickly followed by, “Can I ride it?” Later that day he had his opportunity. Thanks to Uncle Pat for taking him around, it made his day!

First things first (after the helmet of course) hop on the back and go for a spin.

A long slow ride around the pond was just the ticket!

After the loop Jon was ready to drive. The throttle was a little touchy for his 3 year old fingers, so the first start caught Jon (and all of us, except Pat who was as cool as a cucumber through the whole thing) by surprise. Jon looked like a bobble head on the dashboard of a car as they leaped forward and then to a quick stop.

Happiness is 300 pounds of fire engine red ATV at your disposal.

After the whole experience Jon told us how cool that was, and of course that he wanted to do that again!

Way to go Jon, that looked like it was a lot of fun! Reminded me of your ride on the forklift! We can’t show this picture to Uncle Art or he’ll be wanting to buy one for you already, maybe in a few years, right!
    Love Aunt Bev

    Ray,
Thanks for doing this for us. You already know, I can never thank you enough. It’s so hard being so far away, but you have brought us all so much closer.
    Love you,
