[5/18] Water Play
Today’s weather was just about perfect, so we decided to clean the garage. After working up an appetite I went to the grocery store to get some sandwich fixings. When I left the kids were dry and working hard, OK they were hardly working but they were dry.
When I get back they are both in this tiny little tub filled with water just having a ball.
It only took about 10 attempts to get them both to smile and pretend to be nice to each other.
Here is one of Jon just being Jon when he go the tub to himself.
Pablo of Backyardigans fame was surfing in the front yard.
Lily was trying to catch the water spray on her tongue.
I am not quite sure what Jon was doing here, but when I downloaded this picture it made me laugh.
They were having so much fun we decided to go for broke and set up the car wash. Here is Lily about to go through.
After all that activity we of course finished it off with a popsicle.
It’s not like we don’t have a POOL just three houses up. I put that little black tub out with some water and boats and scoops and things and the kids were playing fine. I turn my back for a minute (probably to sneak a donut)and they were both soaked from head to toe, giggling away. It only seemed appropriate to change them out of their wet clothing and put on ez-dry stuff. They sure were cute! And, who knew that little black tub would be such a hit!
Bailey wants to come over and go thru the carwash. She’s been BEGGING for us to get her that and we’ve been telling her “no” of course….THANKS!!!
