[5/16] Farmstead

The weather was wonderful here in KC today so Jen and the kids hit the open road and ended up at Deanna Rose, where the big event was their first pony ride.

Now Lily and I once rode an elephant at the KC Renaissance Festival. (Is that not the worst web page background you have ever seen? They need to have a talk with whoever came up with that idea.) I remember it well since having to sit in the middle and widest part of the beast made my hips cramp so bad I was in pain for 10 minutes after. Man was just not meant to bend that way.

But enough of that, here are the pictures.

I wonder if that pony wrangler was thinking, holy cow this kid asks a lot of questions.




Lily looks a little more serious about the whole experience.




Now she is starting to loosen up a bit.
