[4/22] Emergency Room
In Stitches with Lily
As many of you know Lily had to get stitches a month or so ago, maybe it was two. Anyway, here is a picture of her at the hospital. It was taken with my phone so the quality isn’t much, but you get the point. Watching a video on daddy’s iPod with her head wrapped, just waiting for the numbing gel to take effect.
She looks quite content here, but once they started she was anything but. I think I saw a couple of people leave the emergency room in utter fear from all the screaming.
But that is all behind us and she is doing great.
It was in March and she was helping me with the laundry. She came bounding into my room and tripped and smacked her head on the hope chest in front of our bed. Split her eyebrow right in half. I now know that eyebrows don’t really bleed a lot. It was a deep enough cut though that required two stitches inside and 5 outside. Now that it is a month later, it really is healing quite nicely.
This picture makes me soooo sad, just want to give her a big hug. Hope our get well box help make it feel better!
What a poor poor pathetic looking Lily. Daddy, you must have cried taking that picture. I’m so glad it’s all over and healing nicely! Lily must remember to use her walking feet in the house.
