May 8 - May 14

Lily
We recently "discovered" that Lily has asthma. We had another trip to Children's Mercy, of which I could write a book about but will spare you the details of a child high on albuterol. We ended up leaving without being seen because she was "fine" as long as the air conditioner was on. It was in the 50s that night, but we froze our tootsies off that night for our little girl. The next day we ended up at the pediatrician’s office cape and all. (I think she was still wired from the night before!)


Breathing Treatment
Seeing her like this makes me want to cry, but she is a trooper and took all her new medicine well. It seems to make her jittery and IRRITALBE and for a two-and-a-half-year-old, that spells "FREAKED OUT MOMMY!"


Orange You Glad I Didn't Say Banana?
Can't take this girl anywhere! She really had fun at Chinese Buffet.

Two Cents

Hi Jennifa!
I just wrote a whole lot of stuff--1st post and all and when I went back to check, it was gone. Okay, I'll try again. Lily looks so pathetic, I'd be crying with you--but she is such a trooper! Feed Jonathan. He looks like his mouth is ready for anything!!! I have a pic of you at Lily's age with a whole orange in her mouth--I wonder who has the bigger mouth? I miss you all, specially today. Wish you were here, or I was there!
I love Lily's hair cut. When it grows longer, I'm sure you will let it, I hope it is as beautiful as yours!

Poor Lily, that does bring tears to your eyes! I feel so bad for her, hope they are both feeling better real soon! Looks like they had fun at the Chinese buffet, and boy Jon sure can open his mouth WIDE!!!! Too cute. See you soon.

Poor Lily. She looks so sweet taking her breathing treatment. Kai had to have those......but only for a cough. John is so cute. I cant believe how big he is. I leave for St. Louis in 2 weeks. Sorry we missed you guys for breakfast 1 more time. I'll call when I'm back and we will get together. Kiss them both on those yummy checks
