Jon Took His First Steps!
On the 28th of this month Jon took his first steps. He took three on his first try and he took them running! I don't have any pics because it's not that pretty yet...

Ooohhh Scary

Apparently it was too much work to go up all the stairs to go lie down.

Why Do You Put Me In Silly Hats?

Chickens
Muma got the kids some great outfits for Halloween. They were the hit of the neighborhood parade! Thanks, Muma!

Whoo Hoo! First post, I am the first post! My little chickens are just too darn cute for words.

Hi Jennifa!
I just love all the pics. I can't decide which is the cutest. Lily on the stair is adorable and the both of them on the steps is cute too and the chickens is just too cute. Okay, I just love it. I think we'll be seeing a lot more pics of them in the swings--though you may have to separate them or they'll be bumping off of each other--now that Jon is running. He kinda blows the theory that you must learn to walk before you can run. The pic of him with attitude is sweet. I'll see you all in a little over a week--I can't wait.
Love you all,
Muma

Jumping!

Take A Picture?
Lily is following in my footsteps. One day while hunting for treasures at our local Goodwill we found this "kids" camera for 99 cents! What a steal! It really does work; it uses film and has a flash. We don't put film in it, but we had a battery in it long enough for it to flash a few times and then Lily informed me that it needed "new batteries". Apparently it doesn't have an auto-off feature. We do "pretend" flash now. She also loves to pose people to take their picture, however, she is not too keen on sitting for photos. It took all my strength and skill to get this "posed" picture.

Big Hug!

Cuteness

Lily's vocabulary is expanding by leaps and bounds. I might have to steal an idea from the Holloway's and start a "she really said it" column.
Here's a recent "conversation".

Mama: "Lily, who's home?"
Lily (Upon seeing Daddy come through the door): "Daddy all done work?"
Daddy: "Hi Lily. Yes, Daddy's all done work."
Lily: "Daddy home?"
Daddy: "Yes, Daddy's home."
Lily: "Mama home?"
Mama: "Yes, Mama's home, too."
Lily: "And Jon?"
Mama: "Yes, Jon's home too."
Lily: "Garage door, not front door."
Mama: "Yes, Daddy came through the garage door, not the front door."
Lily: "Eat dinner now?"
And it goes on and on and on...
:-)

Hi to All!
Lily looks like she's a natural behind that camera. But she does come by it honestly--Mom, Dad and Auntee Bevee! They are too cute in their swings--it's great--at least you know where they are! Lily's conversations are hysterical! I can't wait to see you all. They are growing up way too fast. Thanks for keeping this up for us--we love you and appreciate it!
Love Always,
Muma

Hi Jennifa!
Love all the pics! Doesn't Jon know that blondes are supposed to have more fun. He doesn't look too happy, but he sure is cute with hair. I'm not sure that blonde is his color, but where did Ray get that wig, anyway?
Lily's hair sure is growing in. It looks so thick and boy is it red! The last pic is really too cute. Jon looks a little happier there.
Thanks for keeping us posted.

Cheerios
Who's going to get that last one???

Starfish

Toodles

Hi Jennifa,
Okay, I figured out who got the last cheerio. If it's hers, it's hers...if it's his, it's hers...if she likes it, it's hers...even if she doesn't like it, it's hers. I know the princess routine--it's all hers!
Was that starfish one of those things that get bigger in water. Icky, no wonder she put it down. They feel so slimy.
Cute picks. I love you and can't wait to see you all next month!!!!
Love always,
Muma

Pooped After Playgroup
The girls are all sacked out after a busy play date. Luke (the only boy) had decided not to partake in the "resting session".

Lily's Monkey Bar
Lily has started an OBSESSION with hanging; on the counters, door knobs, stove handle and tables. I called Ray at work and told him not to come home unless he had a MONKEY BAR for our monkey!

Weeble
I told Jon to put the "weeble" in the Weeble Village. Little did I know he would be sooo smart; he put himself in the village.

Headlock Or Hug
You decide; I know the truth!

Hi Jennifa!
Love her hat! She really is a little monkey--the bar was a good idea! Not only does it give her a place to hang from, it's a great form of exercise. Play group looks like fun. Jon is too cute. I think that was really smart of him, to take the weeble to the village himself.
Lily's hair seems to be really filling in. Jon's hair, there really does seem to be some growing in, looks red--no way! How could you and Ray possibly have two kids with red hair?????
Okay, joking aside, it really does look like he's getting some hair. I will see for myself in just a few short weeks!
Love you all!
