Traveling Home
Mama. What can I say? In the airport on the way home from Connecticut, Lily decided she wanted to ride in my infant car seat in my stroller. Mama got tired of holding me so she used her sling and strapped me ON TOP OF LILY. I'm sure in some countries this is illegal. By the way, that's Lily's car seat strapped to the back of the stroller with a bungee cord.

Big Girl Bed
In Connecticut Lily had to sleep in a big girl bed so when we got home M&D reconfigured her crib into a toddler bed. The transition went smoothly.

Big Eyes
I think I might have Mama's eyes.

Daddy Goes To Atlanta, Mama Goes To Town
On my schedule, that is. Daddy was gone Wed, Thur, and Fri and Mama laid down the law. She said: I will eat at 6 AM, 10 AM, 2 PM & 6 PM and I did. She said: I will nap at 8 AM, 10:30 AM & 3PM (and bed at 7) and I did. However, I still get up for a cuddle around 4 AM for about an hour. We're working on that.

Playgroup
Thursday was the last day of playgroup so every but Mama had their cameras. Here's a pic of Lily and Courtney heading to the "large motor" room. (Thanks Jen!)

Heather's Pictures of Playgroup
Thanks Heather for these great pics!

Pigtails!

Brunch With The Holloways
On Saturday our friends, the Holloways, came over for brunch. Lily and Jackie had great fun together and Ben enjoyed watching Dora the Explorer. Thanks for the pictures, Michael.

Attacked
No, Lily didn't do this to me. I did it to myself in the exersaucer. Michael got this great picture of me looking so big!

Brunch With The McEachens
On Sunday our friends, the McEachens, came over for brunch. Lily had a GREAT time with Brian. I've never heard her laugh so hard or so long!

Hi To All,
Looks like you had quite a load at the airport! Lily appears to be making the transition to a big girl bed quite well!?!? And yep, Jon has your eyes! Lily is lucky to have so many friends to play with. And her pigtails are just the cutest!
And poor Jon that looks like it might have hurt! He is getting so big and so cute too! Well we miss all of you!!!!

Hi!
Bev kinda summed it all up, but I have a few notes to add. At the airport--looks like you live in Moon Lake! If we try hard enough, I'm sure we can find a couch or a few old cars to throw in the picture! As for the big bed--I still think that she's not quite ready--or did I misread the photo???? Yes, Jon has your eyes, and looking closely I think He's getting your hair color as well!
Lily still bites her tongue on rides--but her mouth is semi-closed! It's an adorable shot of the three of you. I can't believe how long Lily's hair is getting!
Jon looks too grown up in that outfit--he shouldn't be growing so fast--we're missing too much! Surface scratch--will fade away in no time--he's a big boy!
Actually, it looked like you had a busy busy week. Lots of company and lots of fun.
I'm glad that Ray is back home and it sounds like you have lots of projects going on. Good luck with all of them.
I miss you lots and love you more.

Deanna Rose Petting Zoo
Ray was home from work this week on parental leave. It was great having him home! We went to Deanna Rose Petting Zoo on Monday and had a blast!

Feeding The Goats

Running With The Goats
There is an open area where you can play with the goats. Lily enjoyed it; however, while I was snapping pictures I felt a tugging on my shirt. I looked down to find a goat nibbling on me! I think Ray caught it on video.

Surprise Trip To Connecticut
My best friend since the 4th grade is graduating from college so we made a surprise visit to celebrate with her. We stayed at her sister's house and managed to keep it all secret until Thursday night when she got to her sister's thinking she was going on a spa vacation in Vermont! HA HA! She had NO IDEA!
We learned a lot on this trip. Jenn (Katherine's sister) has a cat and Lily is highly allergic to cats! She blew up like a ballon and after two days of trying benedryl we learned that Claritin works great!
Jon had a good time; he was always being held by someone, especially Nick, Katherine's boyfriend. He loves babies. Jon was very happy to meet Nick! Mary Desy-Bull, a long-time family friend, made it out to Jenn's for a visit to meet the kids and we had a great time with her! I got some great pictures of her, but they were on her camera! (Mary, now is the time to figure out how to send pictures!! :-) )
Uncle Dan also made it out for the surprise and stayed with all of us for a night. Here he is with his nephew.

In His Element

Pictures
Some photographer I am. We were so busy with the kids that I didn't get too many pictures of Jenn, Gregg, Katherine; well, anyone!
I did manage to get a picture of the falcon that landed on the swing set.

Hi to All!
Lily looked like she had a great time at the park. What is it with Ray and sleepy kids?
Uncle Dan looks like a natural feeding Jon. He sure had a great time seeing you all. He also said that he had fun visiting all of his friends up north, but he had the best time with all of you.
I'm glad that Mary got to visit with you. It was sweet of her to drive there and I'll be she loved seeing the kids.
It was also very sweet of Jenn to put you all up for a few nights. It sounds like one night there were a whole lot of you!!! Congrats to Kat on her graduation--I'm glad that you got to surprise her.
Poor Lily with her allergies. Sorry she had to take after her Muma in that way.
Thanks for keeping us posted.
Love you all

:-(
The entry for this week was lost due to hardware probles with our hosting site. I'm just going to post the pictures with no titles for now. If I get wild, I'll try to add the titles later. The comments that Niki and Aunt Bev posted were also lost. :-(

Hi Jennifa!
I could think of some titles for a few of them:
Can You Hear Me Now? (Lily up close and personal with Jon)
I know that my fireman's hat clashes with my skirt, but get over it--I'm too cute to care!
Ray reading the kids a book on computors (that'll put any kid to sleep)
I've got my hand up a red frog's butt and the Giraffe and I think it's funny!
Bald is Beautiful! (Jon is just too cute!)

Actually I wish I had read all the titles you had, but it was fun making up my own. I just checked all the pictures again and realized the girl was holding a real bird of some sort. Was Lily impressed?
Love you all

Muma, that was alsmost x-rated!!! :-) I'm glad you had fun making up your own titles. "That girl" is Aubree, our most wonderful babysitter. Her mother is a kindergarten teacher and they hatched chicks and invited Lily and I to comes see them. Lily was deathly afraid of them. She also played dress up there with the huge bin of clothes, hence the fireman's hat and blue skirt. Too funny Muma!

Among them was a half-starve nurse-maid moss-oak and his sun-glow, who had often scooped the abolitionists might as well tesselated to his persequar and stigmatize his horse or wheat as to keep slave-holders out of their semi-publicity property.
