The Cutest Pigtails

Power Play
On Tuesday, Jen, Courtney, Lily, Jon and I went to Power Play (arcade) and had a blast! They have a great toddler section that the girls just LOVED! They also had a food buffet and Lily thought she was in seventh heaven. Courtney was really patient while Lily spent over half and hour trying EVERYTHING!

It Was More Fun If You Had Your Tongue Out

Bank Robbing
You leave these two adorable girls alone for a minute and they get busted for robbing a bank. That's Courtney in the get-away car. Spying on the children has become a favorite pastime of mine.

Play Doh
Nothing says "I love you" like Play Doh.

Jackson
Jackson (Devin's older brother) was having fun making Lily have Monster Hair.

What A Cutie Devin Is!

Passed Out!
Poor Jon had so much fun he passed out. Actually, it was because he was traumatized after Lily ripped off his Band-Aids from his shots that he had earlier in the day. Needless to say, she wasn't gentle, but she was quick!

Hi to all!
Lily looks so cute in her pigtails. I think that all things are better if you've got your tongue out--she really got into those rides, didn't she. Jackson and Devon are handsome young men--I'm glad that they all get along so well. Courtney is adorable and it looks like they pretty well balance a seesaw.
Aren't they a little young for bank robbing? Cute shot of the get away car, though. Didn't your mother ever tell you that it's not nice to spy???
Poor Jon looks like he called it a day.
Thank you for sharing all of this with us. I love watching how much they're changing! Is Ray working on a new video yet? I keep sending dvd's--he hasn't gotten the hint yet???
Love to all of you!

Okay, you had me laughing hysterically at the comments you made to go along with the pictures. Lily and her tongue are too cute! The robbery was the best! How cute are they!!

Lily, I just had to say that I LOVE your piggy tails. Let's both wear them to playgroup on Thursday (btw, I was sad you & Jon weren't there this past Thurs., I was saying "li-lee" a lot that day). Your mommy takes such cute pictures of you & your brother & friends.

Oh I just love your pigtails! You look so cute! Poor, poor Jon. At least you ripped the bandaids off quickly!

Posted by: Auntie Katherine at May 2, 2005 07:09 AM

Lily, Just gotta say I love the pigtails! You are just toooo cute! And it looks like you and Courtney had so much fun playing together! And what a nice sister helping out your brother by taking off his bandaid for him. Won't be long til we see him on the rides with you and Courtney too! Miss you all.

Lily & Devin
The cute little boy is Devin, our neighbor 2 houses up the street. He and his 5 year old brother Jackson, love to play with Lily and Jon. Their mom, Chris, and I have enjoyed dropping our kids off at each other's house and having some quiet time. Devin just loves Lily and would do anything for her.

Big Sister
Lily is enjoying being a big sister. She loves when Jon smiles at her. Although, shortly after this innocent picture, Lily was throwing blocks behind her and knocked Jonathan on the head. His first "wound" from his big sis.

Lily's Sorry, Jon

Gracie
Gracie has learned so much lately.

Wow! What a lot of stuff you put in. Devin is a cutie. I'm glad that you and Chris can swap off kids--it's always nice to get a break! Gracie on the table is different. Of course, she looked so cute you had to take her picture instead of yelling at her to get down. Lily looks like she can fit that whole thing in her mouth!
Little Pope Jon Daniel looks real happy. I love it! When Lily hit him with the block did she kiss it to make it better???
Lily picks the funniest foods to eat. The things that you think she'll like, she doesn't and then she surprises you with liking spinich quiche.
Great Job, once again.
I love and miss you all--see you in a month!

Hi All,
Don't know where to begin on this one. Lily looks like she is having lots of fun with her new friends Jackson and Devin. And I love the pic of her and Jon on the ground looking at each other. Jon looks like he is just so happy all the time! Love the hat. And then there's Gracie, looks like she's been taking lessons from Maggie and Molly, welcome to my world. Watch your dinner. Who every heard of a kid liking spinach!?!?! Well thanks for keeping us close through your site Jen. We miss you all so much!

Hi Jennifa!
Really cute pics! Good thing, 'cause you didn't have much to say. Was it because you've had a really long week with a bunch of sick people aka hubby and kids??? Okay, I'm not giving you a hard time--I know how busy you've been. I can't believe that you actually found time to plant some flowers. Bet they look great! The pics really are cute--Jon is getting so big and Lily is changing fast. She's got a lot more hair!!! I love you--thanks for keeping us posted!

Hi Lily and Jon - Mom and Dad too,

I'm sorry ya'll have been sick, but it looks like there's way too much fun to be had to stay sick long. Also looks like you had a great time in Oklahoma. It's very important to spend time with family members that sound normal like your family in Oklahoma. You kids are just too precious to end up sounding like your Muma's family.

Your Muma had a party tonight that was a lot of fun. Would have been more fun if you had been here.

Tell your Mom and Dad that if you guys are having a hard time going to sleep this week - especially last night and tonight - to look outside. It's a beautiful, full moon. Also, tell them that problems sleeping during full moon are okay. It's only a problem if your teeth start growing in at an extraordinarily fast rate and you start getting lots of body hair. But, hey, you probably won't be showing those signs for a few years yet.

You know what they say - there's always at least one in every family. Be glad that I'm "adopted."

Love you guys!

April 4 - April 10 (J-Week 16)

By Lily

Oklahoma
We all went to Oklahoma to visit Daddy's relatives. We had such a great time with Aunt Candy, Uncle Pat and Kim, Jim and Mitchell. On Sunday we got to visit with Grandad and Grandma Retha, Aunt Vicki and Uncle Mark and their two kids, Tori and Jennifer. I'm not so sure about that Uncle Mark guy; he seemed really excited to have a baby boy around and I was feeling a little jaded. But then he told me that he was building a rocking horse just for ME! I told him I would be a good girl and share it with Jon when he gets older. I can't wait until we go back down to OK in July for Kim and Jim's wedding. Uncle Mark said he'd be finished with it by then. Yippee!!!
Daddy was in charge of the camera this time so most for the credit for having any pics this week goes to him!

Uncle Pat With Baby Jon

Aunt Candy Squishing On Baby Jon
Jon just absolutely loved Aunt Candy. She would carry him and rock him and pat his bottom until he would fall into a blissful sleep.

Stickers
Kim and Mitchell taught me how to put stickers on things other than my sticker book. Not one thing (including the people) was left un-stickered in Aunt Candy's house.

Hanging Out With Mitchell

Spacious House
Aunt Candy and Uncle Pat's house has lots of room to run around. I had a blast. I also learned ho to open the front door and walk out. Mama FREAKED! Here's me blazing through the house.

Grandad And Grandma Retha

Aunt Vicki Loving On Jon

Uncle Mark.
Here's the man who's building me a rocking horse! I only agreed to sit on his lap after Daddy threw me on him and Mama gave me a marshmallow peep. Uncle Mark's pretty cool after all!

Uncle Mark With Baby Jon

Side Note
For all of you who are concerned that Jon doesn't get his picture in as much as I do, he's in this post more than I am!!! :-)

Also, for those of you who are "lurkers" (and you know who you are) I ask you to POST A MESSAGE and say HI! I hear about so many people who say they look at the site and enjoy it; but alas, no comments. Please add your two cents and make my day! Thanks!

Two Cents

Lily,
I suppose I am one of those lurkers you are talking about, so here I am saying Hi to you and your adorable little brother. (Who, judging by the pictures, is ever cuter when he's awake,
-the only time I've ever seen him, he was sound asleep!)
P.S. That rocking horse sounds like fun, but you need to tell Mommy and Daddy a real pony is lots of fun, too!

Hey Lily
What a great week you had to cover! It sure looks like you all had a great time. I'm glad that you enjoy traveling so much! I'm hoping that soon your next trip will be here to visit all of us again!
I just talked to Mommy and you're all sick. I hope that you feel better soon. Ear infections and colds are no fun. Mommy and Daddy are in for a long night tonight. Neither one of you want to go to sleep and it's way after your bedtime. Feel better and know that I love you all. I miss you lots!!!!!!!

Hi Lily,
Sounds like you all had such a fun visit in OK! Looks like you did too!!! Daddy did a good job with the camera too. And Jon looks like he had fun. Can't wait to see you on your new rocking horse, sounds like fun. And I know you'll share it with Jon, you are such a good big sister. Well we miss you all sooooo much!

Lily, you have some serious fashion going on these pic's! Poor Jon... he has no clue you are on the cusp of dressing him in dolls clothes and putting make-up on him!

Hi Jennifa!
An outdoor picture--I'm surprised you let her out! I'm sure that you've set down the rules about running outside! Love the scarves--she'll be wearing them on her legs soon enough. Jonathan looks like he's having fun with his new blue horse and Smooshie looks like she's happy with her new bed. Thanks for sharing!
Love you always,
Muma

Howdy from Lurker's Anonymous! We do always enjoy the updates. Kayla's sick too. Started Thursday afternoon and after six hours at CMS-Urgent Care, I can now vouch for their slow service with the rest of you! She's still far from herself today. Keep her in your thoughts and prayers.
