What a great week...I took three steps all on my own! I've been doing a bunch of cute stuff but some of it is hard to capture on camera. I make lots of cute sounds and I have some great facial expressions but Mama is a bit slow with the camera lately.
Here's a picture of me playing "suicide Suzy" in my crib after a nap. Suzy is my lovey and Mama tied a blanket to her so it's harder for me to lose her. But, when I'm done from my nap, I like to dangle Suzy over the edge...

Here are some other pics of my new room in "French Boutique". M&D made the window cornice, Mama made the quilt and Daddy painted the stripes on the wall. (Okay, he also painted the entire room including the ceiling and trim, but who's counting?) In the previous picture, Mama also made the dust ruffle; it's black with pink polka dots like the window cornice.

Hey Lily, your room looks fantastic. What a great job Mama and Dada did! It sure looks bright! And such a pretty new crib. I noticed that you're wearing sandals in your pictures at the park--what a good girl! Muma has a couple of new pair of shoes for when you come here--which is in just two days!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so excited! So is the rest of the family. I'm all ready for you--I think! Daddy just has to put up all of my cabinet locks for me--PLEASE!!!! We've got lots and lots of toys here for you to play with--I've actually enjoyed playing with some of them myself! Uncle Artie has lots of very noisy ones too! Oh, such fun this is going to be! Give Mama a kiss from me--and tell her to give you one too! I can't wait to see you all!

August 16 - August 22
Hello! It was very sad to close my Baby Blog, but I'm getting older and I need to move on to bigger and better things! I'm looking forward to this smashing new blog that lets Mama and Daddy and Baby Brother-To-Be (XD) add entries too. I'm a busy girl and it takes some time to post all these entries! I've also been working on cutting teeth. I have 6 coming in at once and 4 have popped through and 2 are on their way. All this in a span of 2 weeks. Mama says I've been a bit grouchy. Humph. She would be too if she had all these teeth coming in!
On to some other exciting news on the home front, our screened in porch construction has been started up again. It was stalled for a week after the guy fell off and broke his collar bone. But, alas, he is doing better and will be out to give instructions to his workers. Yippee! I can't wait until it's done so I can go out there and play.

Mama's been feeling much better. Today, she put me in my cute GAP outfit from Auntie Beveee and took a few pictures. She's still trying to get her studio set back up since she had to move it so Daddy could have an office. I took his old office and Baby Brother will get my old room. M&D are going to paint his room and still do it in the Pooh theme, but more "boyish". I've got a great new room and I will take pictures next week when M&D finish the final touches.

Lily is too cute--even with bad hair! I can't believe you took her out like that--well, yes I can. I feel so bad for her, it looks like she has nothing to play with--poor baby! I'll be glad when she gets those teeth in and her mouth isn't hurting any more. Great job with the site. You're so good. I can't wait to see you all. I've got the pool area all cleaned up and ready! I've also got the cutest little bathing suit for Lily! Keep up the great work!

You have landed on the NEW Fuller Family 2004 Site. If you haven't seen Lily's B-Day Pics on Lily's Baby Blog, please click here: www.fullerbits.com/lily. We were all very sad that Lily's Baby Blog has been retired, but like so many things in life, we must close doors to open new ones.
On this new site, you will find some new features. You can enter your email address in the box to the right and be added to the mailing list to get notified when new updates are posted. Also, Smushie has her site linked to this page. You will still be able to find "Lily Spots" on Lily's Page, but it won't be called "Lily Spots" it will just be that page. XD also has a page, but it's rather boring since he doesn't have much to say. YET. One other difference from Lily's Baby Blog is that the entries are not all from Lily. Sometimes I'll add a post, maybe even Daddy or Smushie might appear, but mostly, it's going to be Lily and XD. I'm just getting them started. Please feel free to add a comment in the "Add your Two Cents" section. Even people like Nikki who just want to say they stopped by can. You don't have to write a book, although, Muma is expected to write something every week. :-)
Lily has been very busy this week preparing for her first birthday party. She has also been getting her ducks lined up to put a close on her baby blog. Oh, not to mention trying to walk! She's getting to be such a big girl; going upstairs, giving hugs and kisses and making us all smile a bit more.
She will be in for a real treat when her baby brother arrives in late December. I've finally started to feel better and I'm madly trying to recover from the past 4 months!
Ray and I have been very busy working on Lily's new room. We are doing it in a "French Boutique" style. It's light pink with dark pink stripes on one wall and will be accented with black and white polka dot fabric. She will post some pictures when it's completed. Ray's had to do a lot of painting and building lately. Seems every night he's wielding a paint brush or nail gun! He built a window seat with bookshelves and cabinets in the den so we can stash all the toys!
Next, we're on to XD's room. I've already got some great plans for it. We're going to keep the "Pooh" theme, but we're going to paint the room differently. You may ask why we call him XD...it's because we haven't picked out a first name for him yet, but we know his middle name will be Daniel after my brother.

It sure looks like you put a lot of work into this! I checked out all the connections and I can't believe how nice it is--actually I can. You did such a fine job with Lily's and a great job of updating it every week. I'm not sure about XD's initials, tho--are you thinking of calling him Xavier???? Well, I left my last note on Lily's Blog--what happens to that now? Is it going to be lost in cyberspace? You know I don't understand how any of this works! Oh well, congratulations on a great job!
